Advanced Calorie Calculator

Includes Mifflin-St Jeor, Harris-Benedict, and Katch-McArdle equations

How Calorie Calculation Works

This calculator estimates your calorie needs using multiple equations: Mifflin-St Jeor, Harris-Benedict, and Katch-McArdle (if body fat is known). These formulas estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), the number of calories your body burns at rest.

Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) is calculated by multiplying BMR by an activity factor. Based on your goal, the tool adjusts calories for weight loss (500-1000 deficit), maintenance, or gain.
